Quanta Sponsors Woodville Rangers FC Team

The Club was formed in 2005 as there was no junior football in the immediate area. Since then the Club has grown from strength to strength and currently has registered around 150+ players for the 2011/12 season from under 8 to over 40 years of age.

Woodville Rangers"We currently run a soccer school for under 7's, we have 1 under 8 team, 2 under 9s, 2 under 10s, 1 under 11, 12 & 13 and 2 adult teams. To run these teams we have 10 team Managers and various assistant managers & coaches. Of these volunteers we have 16 FA qualified coaches who have attended the training courses in their own time. These courses have been funded by the Club through fundraising and various donations. The training of our volunteers is something that we are keen to continue as this helps to attract new volunteers, retain current coaches and enhance the Club's Development."                       [Click on Photo to enlarge]

This year the Club achieved the FA Charter Standard - Development Club status. As part of this progression they hope to establish links with local schools so that the Club can develop and continue by recruiting new players.
The adult team play their games at Woodville Recreation Ground and Goseley Recreation Park. Youth teams play at Spring Cottage. All the other teams play at multi pitch parks such as the Marston's, Pingle School 3G, Robert Sutton 3G, Washlands and Shobnall Park in the very well organised Burton Junior Football League.
